We are a privately owned service, providing an alternate link between the river and mainland for residents and ratepayers of Bar Point & Milsons Passage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially intended as a \u2018school run\u2019, the service is open to all ages, and school children get priority seating, and can book a discounted Term Pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents and ratepayers of Bar Point & Milsons Passage are welcome to join the run by booking one of the spare seats on a regular or casual basis. To get your \u2018locals only\u2019 booking code email: bookings@theriverbus.com.au<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The River Bus is only for Residents and Ratepayers \u2013 not for guests of holiday houses \/ airbnbs. If you are coming for a holiday, please phone Hawkesbury River Water Taxi <\/strong>on 0422 300 100 <\/strong>to book a transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIMETABLE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The service runs 3 days a week, year round (except school & public holidays). <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our timetable is subject to change based on customer demand and availability of crew. Any changes will be published on the booking page. As a general guide, we typically adhere to the below schedule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY<\/span><\/strong> – River to Mainland:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.30am \u2013 Bar Point Public Wharf (pick up only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.35am \u2013 Milsons Passage Public Wharf (pick up or drop off)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.45am \u2013 Kangaroo Point Public Wharf (drop off only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*** Note: The 592 Bus to Hawkesbury River Train Station (via Brooklyn PublicSchool) departs at 8.27am from <\/em>the steps of Estuary Restaurant, Kangaroo Point. <\/em>***<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY<\/span><\/strong> – Mainland to River:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*** Note: The 592 Bus from Hawkesbury River Train Station departs at 3.15pm, stopping at Brooklyn Public School at 3.17pm, then arrives to Kangaroo Point, near Estuary Restaurant at 3.25pm <\/em>***<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.30pm \u2013 Kangaroo Point Public Wharf (pick up only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.45pm \u2013 Milsons Passage Public Wharf (pick up \/ drop off)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.50pm \u2013 Bar Point Public Wharf (drop off only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FRIDAY ONLY<\/span><\/strong> – Mainland to River:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.15pm \u2013 Kangaroo Point Public Wharf (pick up only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.25pm \u2013 Milsons Passage Public Wharf (pick up \/ drop off)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.35pm \u2013 Bar Point Public Wharf (drop off only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n


FARES<\/strong> – One Way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Children (0-4yrs) $0 – MUST be accompanied by fare paying adult <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children (Primary) $7.50 – discounted to $5 per trip with a Term Pass<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adult \/ Seniors \/ High School Students $15<\/p>\n\n\n\n
